The Chinese Theatre sits on the stretch of Hollywood Boulevard with the handprints, the Walk of Fame stars and several thousand people standing on them at any given moment. Traffic crawls, the nearby garages are shared with a shopping centre, and for premieres the street is closed outright.

There's the Hollywood and Highland complex garage next door, shared with a shopping centre and a Metro station. It's expensive, it empties slowly, and the walk is through heavy crowds. A booked car removes all three.

Round-trip is the more affordable option and works well when you'll stay for the whole event. Hourly costs more but keeps the chauffeur on location the entire time, so you can leave whenever you want — worth it if you plan to beat the exit or the evening might run long.
